Dear loyal member of Righters Untie!
It is a bitter-sweet moment to inform you all that I, Dan Hoger, am resigning from Righters Untie! effective immediately.
I had been contemplating this decision for sometime now, and I feel that it is in the best interest for both myself, and Righters Untie! As many of you know, I am now in LA, pursuing a writing career. I currently have two day jobs, and internship as a script reader, and my own writing. So my free time is very limited. I would rather not have running RU impede on my writing, and I would rather not have my writing impede on running RU. So I opted to cut one, and keep the one which means the most to me. Which is my writing, which is in fact, inspired the creation of RU to begin with.
I created RU not only with the intent to draw focus to my own writing, but also to help out fellow aspiring writers. Some of you also hope to write for a living someday, whereas others do it just as a hobby. But whichever way describes your involvement, from what I've seen, I have watched all of you develop and improve your writing. And I am proud, not only of myself, but as RU as a whole, to help you all improve your wonderful gifts.
Even though I am stepping down from running RU, that does not mean that I will disappear completely. I will still be around, just not in the capacity that I used to be. That being said, i will now introduce the new head of Righters Untie!

Why Young Dominick? Let's start with the fact that he has over 300% more posts than anyone else on RU! He is on here daily, and is dedicated and loyal to the development of RU. His involvement on this forum has seen him quickly go from regular member to moderator, to right hand man. He's my go-to man for when I need something done, but am too busy to do it myself. And now I'm too busy to run RU, so I called upon him once again to help me out. And now he is stepping in for me. I trust him with RU 100%, and gave him full permission to do whatever he wants with it. So there may be major changes coming up for RU, but with Dom in charge, I know the changes will be for the best.
Helping Dom out with moderating RU are his mod staff. Chris, Nick, Blake, and Ed, who just recently became a mod. So if you need anything, any of them will be happy to help you.
I wish you all the best of luck in your writing, and all your other endeavors. For those of you who are pursuing a job in the entertainment industry, I hope that you will keep me updated. I myself plan to keep you all updated with my own journey into the heart of the industry. But even if I get lost in Hollywood, this will always be my home. Who knows, maybe someday you guys will have a writing contest based on a show I created.
So I will leave you with the immortal words of Carlton Cuse, who said this to me when I friggin met him in the VIP lounge of a Writers Guild Foundation event!

Write. Don't procrastinate, just write. If you want to play the violin, you need to practice as much as possible. Same thing with writing.
