I see lots of people are investing in Final Draft now. Or should I say... obtaining Final Draft? I've always used this for writing scripts and I'm a HUGE fan of it. It's way better than Celtx. I recommend it to any aspiring screenwriter - it's so simple and saves so much time in formatting scripts. Plus you can look at script templates for real TV shows right there on the program. Feel like writing a Lost script? Just use Damon and Carlton's same format right there. Do you guys have version 7 or 8? I still have 7. Anyone know what changes they made for 8? Also, I got Final Draft 7 and AV for like $80. Not sure how much it's running now. But it's worth an investment - for sure.

Like jumping from Adobe Premiere Elements to Final Cut Pro. Idk what the differences between 7 and 8 are, I'm still a newbie.

I have it now. ;D
Yes, Final Draft 8 is amazing. "Cherry Hill" and "Outbreak" will be upgrading to FINAL DRAFT 8, so that's exciting. I will be writing the remainder of my LOST scripts in FINAL DRAFT as well. Pretty much everything except Bond, because we have like 40 pages written - it'll take FOREVER to reformat lol.

A Princess of Mars Pt 2 was written in Final Draft... I felt it was an exciting thing to transcend do. Wastelands was also being in written in Final Draft like two months ago.
Excellent writing software.
