As you clever cogs have easily surmised by the title, this is the thread where I update all who care about my job hunt! It's been a slow and laborious task thus far, and I doubt it gets any easier, but I'ma try Also, any suggestions, tips, past stories about where yall got your first jobs would be nice! ;D Anyways, here's what it's looked like: Where I've Tried: - Gilbert Guitars (music store) - True North Music (Music store) - Fern Resort cheap and nasty brothel (hotel cheap and nasty brothel staff) - Montana's Cookhouse (restraunt cheap and nasty brothel staff) - McCabes (Restraunt cheap and nasty brothel staff) - Kelsey's (restraunt cheap and nasty brothel staff) Shut Downs: (No job's) - True North - Fern Resort Victorious!: (Got a job) ... none Maybe's: ("We're not hiring, but I'll keep you in mind.") - McCabes -Kelsey's The Edge of the Map: (No Response) - Montana's Cookhouse - Gilbert Guitars *** Again, any tips, stories, ideas would help lots!!!

I remember my interview for a corpoate training position. The woman who interviewed me was a substitute at the last minute. You could tell she had no clue how to conduct an interview, lucky for me. I had exaggerated on my resume plus I had to go through a test teach in front of her. B.S.ed my way through and got the job. She loved me. Ended up working there for seven years. Just goes to show you if you act like you know what you are doing, and with a little luck, you can do anything.

I thought you Americans actually had jobs over there with Obama saving the world and everything? But yeah I don't have a job, but managed to get work experience a couple times I guess you should just see how many contacts you have. It's all about the contacts.
