Okay, so I've been thinking this idea over for sometime but I was wondering if anyone here would be game to create our own connected DC Universe wherein they all cross over into one large event.
As of now, the whole main idea behind it is quite open. I've had a lot of ideas on small bits and pieces but I decided I want to organize this. If you are interested in any of the following scripts, let me know:
- Green Lantern (Me) - Superman (Daz) - Wonder Woman - The Flash - Aquaman - Batman - Green Arrow
Or, if you have any other ideas on a film or any way of helping, whatever, let me know. Shoot me a PM and I'll share my ideas.

well i started writing a superman film a few weeks ago ... about ten pages in. it was based in part on the birthright series by mark waid
also, i'd think about dropping aquaman, cause honestly, who gives a fuck about aquaman. green arrow could be a fairly good replacement (and you can throw in black canary or speedy as a sidekick - speedy in particular would make for a good side-story and give green arrow a very human side in a solo film, and could play the hawkeye/blackwidow/maria hill sort of role in a group film.)

That works very well. So I'd take it you're in for this shindig. This works, but I still think Aquaman could be really cool if done right. We just need some of the other good writers on here to pitch in.

maybe it's just me, i never found aquaman very interesting as a character, and his powers very much restrict the story you're trying to tell, because you have to find some way of working in the sea into the overall shit to give the bugger something to do.

I think it can kind of play out like Thor. Fantasy infused. Make it more related to Atlantis and the throne he holds.

Can he only manipulate the ocean though? What about other bodies of water? Water in sewer systems, pipes etc that run underground and through every building. Water is everywhere. Clearly, I don't know much about Aquaman (or other superheroes), but couldn't it be an idea to set it on the Titanic?

Quite clearly nobody here has been reading Geoff Jones insanely amazing Aquaman ongoing. You read that and tell me that Aquaman isn't a bad ass. Also, no Martian Manhunter? I'd actually be up for taking on more than one of these. I've got a dynamite idea for Wonder Woman that I was considering writing anyway, and I'd love the chance to prove Daz wrong on his Aquaman hate.

Yeah, so it maybe not be detrimental removing him from the group. I can deal with that. And, the reason I didn't include MM is because I really don't think he warrants his own film. Aquaman could easily have his own film, its up to whoever wants to write it to be honest, I just don't see his value in place with the JL.

As long as you can handle both and you're not taking the opportunity from someone else, I'm totally fine with that. And no, I haven't read the new 52 Aquaman, worth it?

Well put me down for the Wonder Woman film for definite, because I already have an idea for that that I'd really like to write, and then if nobody else wants to take on Aquaman then I'll happily take it on as well. And yeah, I totally get the Martian Manhunter stuff, just saddens me how so many people don't know him. And yeah, I'd highly recommend the new 52 Aquaman. That, Animal Man and Swamp Thing are the best DC comics right now.
