I try to not have this list change much. There's been a few changes, but I would say that these albums would be important ones in my life.
In no particular order
"Dying to Say This To You" - The Sounds "One Fierce Beer Coaster" - The Bloodhound Gang "Hot Fuss" - The Killers "Hold On Now, Youngster" - Los Campesinos! "Messages" - To My Boy

Hot Fuss was my first real experience with Music outside of my parents. I was a wee lad then.

The Killers was the first gig I went to - they were promoting the Mr. Brightside single back then...

Why is Lady Gaga on nobody's list? Dirty Pretty Things was my first gig outside of festivals =D I got a cigarette burn. It was the highlight of my prepubescent life.

Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin I Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin II Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin III Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin IV The Who - Tommy there's a little bit of a pattern, i grant you. I've wanked and had sex to "No Quarter" more times than I care to count. The song isn't on any of these albums, but I thought I'd mention it.

I'll try and trim it down to only five, although ten would probably be a lot easier. 1. Pinkerton by Weezer (Listened to this literally over 100 times.) 2. Brand New Eyes by Paramore 3. American Idiot by Green Day 4. Abbey Road by The Beatles 5. Aim and Ignite by fun. Honorable Mentions: Camp by Childish Gambino Elephant by The White Stripes Blunderbuss by Jack White Consolers of the Lonely by The Raconteurs (There is a pattern there.) The Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd The Black Parade by My Chemical Romance Stop Drop and Roll by Foxboro Hot Tubs

Giving myself a one album per artist limit, I'd have to go with;
1. "1. Outside" David Bowie
2. "Ray of Light" Madonna
3. "Led Zeppelin IV" Led Zeppelin
4. "Bridge Over Troubled Water" Simon & Garfunkel
5. "The Seldom Seen Kid" Elbow
Honourable mentions (AKA other fucking great albums)
. "Dark side of the Moon" Pink Floyd
. "Lost Souls" Doves
. "Begin to Hope" Regina Spektor
. "Appetite for Destruction" Guns & Roses
. "A Night at the Opera" Queen
. "Barcelona" Freddie Mercury (solo)
. "Conditions" The Temper Trap
. "Purple Rain" Prince
. "The Slider" T- Rex
. "The Divine Comedy" Milla Jovovich
. "Hits and Exit Wounds" Alabama 3
. "This Head I hold" Electric Guest
You get the drift...
