You're a fan of horrors/thrillers in general. What got you into the genre?
What do you think makes a good scary story?

Holy crap. XD You're a fan of horrors/thrillers in general. What got you into the genre?Honestly, video games. I remember Resident Evil and Silent Hill scaring the life out of me as a kid and I -- loved it. It really introduced me to the "realm" of horror. Outbreak I've always seen as a "counterpart" to Resident Evil and Whiteout one to Silent Hill. What do you think makes a good scary story?[/i] Love this question. I remember hearing once that these elements make the perfect horror and I've always kept it in mind when writing: The unknown, the unexpected, the unbelievable, the unseen, the unconscious and the unstoppable. And what's your favourite scary movie? [/i] Your mom. :-| But in all seriousness, I don't have one. There's too many out there to narrow it down. I'd probably have a "favorite" for every subgenre (like zombie horror, supernatural, slasher, etc.) but not a single favorite.
