I had no idea where to start this thread, so I saw books and did. Decent book, genius insight into Froyd's theory of id, ego, and superego. Great story. Can someone explain to me how Simon is a Christ figure?

I don't know. I see where the relation is, but he is not a Christ figure by any means. He doesn't sacrifice himself. He doesn't redeem people.

This book, honest to god, was so hard to read I found myself resorting to pre-school phonics in order to even attempt to read it Got so bored with it I made Lost cross overs along with the phonics thing to make it enjoyable and easy.

I don't think I was articulate enough or even as literacy smart as I thought I was to even understand it. Maybe it was written strangely??? I mean, I got through atleast 40 pages of Lord Of The Rings, and those are said to be hard to read, but I will hand it to the author, his description was amazing.

I think that the book is VERY easy to read, but then again- I had to read The Scarlet Letter.
