poem I wrote for my friend to give to the guy she has a crush on.
she likes my poetry and asked me to help her out so this is what i came up with after her telling me about him and their story. i hope it wins his heart. If not, I'll run him over with my car hahaahhaha J/K

A New Beginning

All I want from you
is to hold me tight
I want you to kiss me
and take care of me
and I'll do the same for you.
I don't understand
how this all happened
but all of a sudden the world
just seemed so much brighter.
I could look into those eyes of yours
everyday, and never get bored.
Just let me take care of you
and do the same for me.
We've had our endless trials in life
especially with other lovers
walked all over our gentle hearts
So its our turn now-
our turn to feel and fall
head over heels.
Lets turn away from our past
Lets make this last
So tonight, just hold me tight
and don't let go.
This world makes sense now-
you were the one missing all along.
So let this be our turn now
to show what our kind hearts
can give - others took advantage of.
