Self-Discovery of a Late-Deafened Individual
I read and study Psychology Sometimes it gets a bit lonely Attending a Deaf University There's been a lot of self-discovery I completely accept this silent journey.
Hands flying in the air wildly Expressions on faces I understand so clearly I hold this Deaf University to my heart dearly Couples embrace each other closely Friends gather around I feel understood totally.
Most Professors sign and teach passionately I feel as though they take me seriously Notebooks and Psychology textbooks, so heavy Yet I still manage to carry my Staruck's coffee Sometimes the road to success can be lonely.
I can't wait to graduate proudly I'll move on to Grad School nervously Yet I'll let my light shine brightly My hands flying in the air wildly Expressions on my face we understand so clearly.
Now a Deaf individual with substance, definitely Ready to take on the world courageously.
