Through the show's use of narrative style, POINT 2, POINT 3 -- Lost has revolutionized how television shows are made and has ushered our society into a new Golden Age of television.

I originally had that, but my teacher decided to change it.

This probably means nothing to you anymore, given how long ago this post was, but I've only just read this so deal with it =P
It's a good read and I totally agree with the subject matter of "revolutionizing television", and whilst you discuss what Lost does I feel this lacks impact because you don't compare it to other shows that have been privy to this revolutionising (other than the brief mention of Heroes). Lost really was ground-breaking, with its intricate web of mysteries, the character-connections, the flash story device, the enigmatic entourage cast... A whole slew of new shows today incorporate these elements and the nod to Lost is anything but subtle. Lost allowed shows to start featuring foreign characters as main cast with whole scenes, sometimes the majority of the episode, in a different language. It showed television that storylines and character development doesn't always have to happen in a linear format.
It was a pleasure to read, but I'm just not sure this essay emphasised just how ground-breaking it was =o
What did you write this for btw?
