Final Fantasy

I'm sure there was a Final Fantasy thread. I probably deleted it in one of my mad rages. Irony?

Anyway, I love Final Fantasy. Amazing gameplay and graphics aside, the Final Fantasy games have always told amazing stories about diverse and interesting characters.

The latest interation Final Fantasy XIV has recently outdone itself. The MMO which lasted only 2 years has finally come to an end (for now), but I wanted to share the awesome cinematic that ushered in the destruction of a world I played within, met great friends and completed epic adventures.

I admit I welled up as I watched my hometown blow up

Might share some of my other favourite, most emotional FF cinematics here too.

Anyone else play FF games?

I was never a huge fan simply because of the turn base combat. Pokémon and a few other games like, Golden Sun were the rare exceptions. I played some of the FF gameboy spin off's though. Final Fantasy Tactics Advance was one of my favourite games growing up.

I've always been really aware of the series though. Always up to date on the games progress (where the fuck is XIV for the PS3?! Or XV for that matter? Or Final Fantasy Versus?! I was looking forward to Versus

FFXIV is being relaunched in a few months. Basically the world has just been destroyed and it's gone offline now. A brand new revamped FFXIV game is coming out 2013 including the PS3 version which takes place some time in the future. OMG You gonna play PS3 version?!?!? DO IT!

Versus looks amazing too, it's been announced since forever!

Hell yeah! And Versus better not be cancelled. Everything that's been shown off from it looks Fucking incredible. and I'm interested in the new comat system they're always chatting about.
