1.) How did you go about creating the quirky cast of characters? Are any of them perhaps based on your real-life friends, like over-exaggerated (or maybe not?!) caricatures of real-life people, or were they all made up?
2.) Do you plan on keeping things grounded in (sort of) reality for now, or do you ever plan on expanding the scope to having Tom become a sort of 'Spider-Man'/'Batman' costumed hero who has full control and fights badass supervillains?
3.) How far ahead do you plan?
4.) On a similar note, do you have any idea the longevity of the show or is it all just sort of up in the air?

Each character sans Sufjan is kind of an amalgamation of numerous friends I have. Karl's totally based off of an actual friend named Karl. 2.) It'll bounce between the grounded real-life stuff and Tom trying to figure out his place as a superhero, and whenever I decide to really bust the universe open it'll begin to form into more of a "superhero" tale. 3.) I've got up to the Season 2 finale roughly planned out as far as a long story arc. 4.) Season 2 COULD be the last season based on how I have it planned, but I'm not set on having that be the ending yet. |

Probably at some point 2.) I know the current arc's ending, but as I kind of touched upon in Johno's question, there's a chance it'll expand out beyond what it is currently *ambiguity woooooooh!* 3.) 'Ventually  4.) 8 episode first season, still up in the air as far as Season 2 and beyond. |
