So after an unexpectedly long waiting period, it's finally time for me to announce the winners of User's Choice Awards 2012. Before I do though, please bare in mind that these awards were created as a reaction to the onslaught of "Why isn't <insert show here> nominated?" questions thrown at The Rightees. The UCA didn't require nominations. In fact all shows were automatically in for a chance at winning so long as they were relatively recent. There was no discrimination here. No need to nominate and pick and choose. Every show stood a chance at winning something. Or at least I hope. I'll start with my own, just to get it out of the way lol. Honourable Mention - 10 RU Points Most Anticipated (still) - 10 RU Points Best Horror - 25 RU Points Best Drama - 25 RU Points Best Action/Adventure - 25 RU Points Best Mystery/Suspense - 25 RU Points Best Comedy - 25 RU Points Best Film 2012 - 50 RU Points Best Pilot 2012 - 50 RU Points Best of RUN 2012 - 100 RU Points

well rock the fuck on.
congrats to me, and all the other winners. void and goosebumps were bound to win, and cherry hill has been so consistent it has to be considered a victor in any award thingymabob around here.
also, as good as jurassic park is, it's a sad state of affairs for action adventure shows here, that something that only comes around once in a while wins the award ... although the same could be said for indef delayed i guess lol.

Wow geuinely surprised that Cherry Hill won the Best Drama, very thankful for that as literally it is the one thing that's kept me relevant here for so long! Also very well done to Johno, you make it look effortless to continuously put out multiple series at a time, you've improved so much over the years and you really do deserve that mention.
Congratulations to everyone else who recieved something, it does seem like most people got a look in at the UCA's. Also well done Kurai for finally getting them up!

It feels so weird to me that while the quality of my shows can't even touch the quality of other scripts here with a ten foot pole, I still win Writer of the Year. It's a beautiful thing to win, but I feel it's somewhat undeserved. Thank you all, if I won the award truly based on growth, then it has actually inspired me to keep improving myself and to keep growing as a writer ;D
Congratulations to everyone else who won, excited to end November on this note and start December with a fun Review Race. Let's keep RU running!

Thank you all, if I won the award truly based on growth, then it has actually inspired me to keep improving myself and to keep growing as a writer ;D You don't get to choose if you deserve it or not that's the whole point ^^ But you totally do, you're consistently active, always have a project on the go, and you see your projects through to the end. You also review consistently, you're motivated and always willing to help in the running of RU. Then of course there's the whole growth thing. If you don't deserve it, quite frankly nobody does.
