Just so everyone is aware on the current situation, starting from January 28th proboards is updating to Version 5 (its currently Version 4).
Initially this update is optional, however it will be forced on us come April 28th (basically the same way Facebook do their version updates).
It may therefore be easier to update sooner rather than later.
I basically wanted to create this thread to assure any concerned members that only user-created code will be deleted, so the forum will essentially be a clean template (or at least that is my understanding of it). Posts, threads, scripts etc will not be lost, the update will only affect he things that change the appearance and features of the site.
The poll is basically asking, would we rather update as soon as possible or wait till end of April? I think my preference would be as soon as so we can get used to it and modify the appearance but yeah, up to the majority vote.
