Quite frankly I was fed up of the weird turqouise banner clashing with the rest of the forum, so I whipped up something quick to replace it. It doesn't have to be permnanet, but it'll do for now. I was also getting ready for the Proboards update and just playing around with some ideas. My idea again was to keep the font and banner itself crisp and clean, with the font primarily white, so that whatever the theme, the banner can be easily adjusted to match the colours (e.g. the blue R and U could easily be changed to red, green, black, to match the background)      Anyway, as always I'm open to suggestions on fonts, colours and designs. Also, if you want to make something yourself then go for it! |

Either the first one or last one. Not a big fan of the navy blueish color, or the fonts, on the others...
I honestly prefer the last one to the first though, just because, imo, the black/transparent RU/RUN logo looks odd or sort of crowded. Maybe if it was smaller and/or a diff color? So ATM my vote goes to the first (and current) banner.

Yeah I want a total overhaul of the colours, this navy just makes it look old and dates. I like the logos on the first, obviously, but I just feel it's been overcrowded with too much needless information, I don't think we need a slogan. I feel the main R.U. logo should be central and much bigger with the 'Righters Untie' smaller and underneath so people can come here and now it's R.U. but then see what it stands for rather than RIGHTERS UNTIE and have a random R.U. tucked in the corner. The R.U.N. logo I think should be used in the appropriate section in the place of the current one.
I just feel less is more, so moving on from the whole 'spelling mistake' era and becoming simpler and more modern in our approach and just looking more aesthetically pleasing.

Really I was just showing off what I was playing around with. Like the first image was just showing the transparency of the run logo, and the ones with the darker background was just showing how, with a white font, the background colour is easily adjustable. Just a collection of ideas all thrown together! I'm glad you like it though. I'll throw some more ideas out later.

I'm really getting over the blues too. Any suggestions on a colour scheme? Though I will probably wait for the proboards update before actually creating new themes as I'm not sure how drastically the forum will change. I'll make a version of your suggestion and post that up here. |

TAFKA's just brimming with ideas, I love it. Ummm, I agree maybe something more simplistic, less wordy. Thinking it over, a change in color scheme would be nice. We'd just need something everyone could agree on.
