Hey everybody, I'm new here! I'm interested in writing some stuff but was wondering if there is a specific way I have to go about that? Any help would be appreciated!

Hello Whiterose! Welcome to RU. The site is incredibly inactive at the moment, but that's simply because everyone is out enjoying the summer. Do please stick with us as things really pick up again in a few months time.
Anyway, what can I help with? What would you like to write? If you want to write scripts then I'd suggest downloading Celtx which is a free software which will format your work properly and allow you to save them as a PDF. etc. Take a look at the other scripts and shows on the site under the RUN section. Read how others do it. Feel free to review shows too! Take a look in the shows individual threads to see how reviewing works (it's easyyy).
Anything else I can help with?

Yeah, I know Celtx and such, I really meant like how do I go about starting a show? I tried looking for a set of steps but I'm afraid I may have missed it....like what do I have to do first? Is there approval i need?

Ah right! Nope, not at all. Pick a genre board and make a new thread. Do it however you like. Some of us get all fancy and make posters and fake cast etc. You don't have to do that unless you want to. I would advise making the thread eye catching though. Just post watcha like as an external link. I'd include the basics like a plot synopsis and episode list etc. Just have a look at the other shows on the RUN and gather ideas. But you don't need permission to post. Go ahead.

We don't really have any set rules. Just kinda do what you feel like doing. We're not the strictest bunch.
