Picked up "Babel" not too long ago, and "I Will Wait" remains my favorite. The final chorus always gives me chills. This song is haunting and darkly relatable and I love Mumford 9/10 Danny Elfman forever.

Very monster-mashy. It has kind of a cool sound and vibe to it, but it isn't really my thing, to be honest.

Been listening to this one non-stop for the past few days.

Nice rhythm. Voice was a little annoying, a little Becks. But I brought into it after a while. I loved the tone of the chorus. "Two headed Boyyy". And then the higher notes after, nice. And I'm two minutes in. I think the problem this song suffers is it feels like a demo and or B Side. It feels unfinished. Vocals need a little touching and mixing, the guitar goes from inventive to incredibly jarring. It's nearly a good song. I actually really love the lyrics.

My God, how sexy was that bass attack? Oh mummma! Sexy is the only way to describe that musical opening. Whilst that guitar scrreeeeched away that funky bass rhymed in the background. Oh lordy.
The energy is fucking palpable.
It helps that I adore this song so much. *sings along*
It's like a dazzling attack of music from all sides. Adore it. Antony's vocal could have been stronger on the chorus. But apart from that, fucking amazing performance of such a legendary song.
9/10
30 years today this song was released. And so began a domination, a reformation, a conversion, a liberation, a legacy which is as relevant today that it has ever been. Pop perfection----

Very 80's. Me Gusta. Madonna isn't my favorite, but I realize her talent and this is admittedly a pretty awesome song. Got me moving a bit.

Always love a song that counts itself in The quality of the vocals could have been a bit crisper. Sounds like an 80's B side. But I liked the guys voice a lot. Bit one note. But I liked the song. Liked it's direction. Maybe an additional layer of production over the chorus just to make it stand out. Like bringing that harmonica foward a bit in the mix. 7/10I'ma share a bit of musical theatre here. This is one of the best songs from the Jekyll and Hyde musical. My ex sings this wonderfully. So haunting. Anyways, the entire score is one of the best ever composed in my opinion. It's a shame the show isn't known more. Jekyll and Hyde- Dangerous Game

I don't really know how to rate this, to be honest. It's not bad, I'm just not the biggest fan of musical theater :/ But on it's own merit:

Awesome opening. Creepy, lullaby, very Massive Attack. Vocals reminded me a little of Ian Brown... Only a little. I liked it. Very unusual. Some very urban sounds in there, very gritty, but then there's this unique tech pop twist to some of the production. And then they throw in some subtle strings in there! It comes together quite well. I enjoy the production. It feels like it's ever evolving. The vocals aren't as interesting as the production and neither are the lyrics. However, they still manage to entertain.
I really dug that song. Always changing. Wonderful, interesting stuff.

Ah, Arcade Fire is always brilliant <3 The vocals are pretty amazing, loving the synth, and oh Lord, the chorus is so goddamn 80's in the best possible way.

I'm going to throw another song by these guys out there.

Shit man. This is my kinda music. Something dark about it, but instantly catchy and addictive. The overlay of the vocals are amazing. Like short leash psychedelic. Also, I'm always a fan of falsetto. Like the last song you posted by these guys the song just felt like it was evolving constantly. It was awesome. The music all merged so wonderfully, no single instrument is distinctive. Loved the vocals here, mostly because of the overlay though.
It's a very arty song, but I dig it a lot.

Another brilliant P&S tune. But then again, which one isn't? I think the dual-vocals from Simon and Garfunkel are one of the reasons I really like their music, and this song is a beautiful example of why.
Now, I've been in a bit of a pop-psychadelic phase, and this band is the prime contemporary example of the genre, IMO. (Yes, they hit commercial gold early on, but IMO their back catalogue is much better.)

MGMT have always been hit or miss with me. I dig some of their stuff and hate others. This was OK. I've heard a lot better. I love what they've done for their genre though, and I have a lot of respect for them. I liked the odd shift at 1:25. It felt like the song was drowning throughout. It picked up a lot at 2:15. Really got into it around then. The chanting of, "we got the handshake" was pretty awesome. And I adore whistling in a song so so much.

I'd never heard this song before, but I'd have to say that now it's probably my favorite Madonna song. I don't know what it was about it, but I found myself pretty entranced by it. Very good stuff, not quite as grand-scale as a lot of her stuff, but I think it worked out really well for this song.

Oooooo, hugely interesting opening. Starting the music loud and then deceasing it? Interesting little bursts there. I like it. Love this kinda voice. It's limited in range, but it's so distinctive and a tad folksy that I've fallen in love with it. Bopping my head along here. Love the bridge at 1.42. Waiting for the, "Hold me,. hold me" to jump start again. Oh, it went into another verse... WHATEVER!
Love the change at 3:25. I'm mumbling along like I know the words lol.
This is the sort of song I would like to write too. It fits my groove.

Ah, Doves. So lovely. So majestic. And yes, I'm talking about the band. Seriously one of the most critically and commercially underrated bands of the last fifteen years. This song is no exception. "Sea Song" is always going to be my favorite, but I've always held a soft spot for The Man Who Told Everything because I'm pretty sure it's the first one I heard (not positive, but it was the first one that really hit me in the right way by Doves).
10/10 (As one comment on Youtube put it, 'In a Perfect World, Elbow and Doves would be the biggest bands on Earth.')

Poetic words there, Ceb <3 Bizzare song there. Won me over with the muted trumpet at 1:20. It's hard to place it. Loved that blowing wind like quality in the production. Kinda folky, but slightly experimental in it's approach. I enjoyed it. 8/10Now for a fucking British classic---- Robbie Williams- Angels <3 *sways*

Okay, I made it one minute longer than that song deserved. I could literally throw a fish onto a xylophone and make better music, but I digress. -9999/10 Now for the hit track of 2012: Goddamn, I called that shit months ago.

I'd heard it once or twice and I remember thinking it was good. This listen I obviously paid a bit more attention, and yes, it's pretty brilliant.
