Ah, Brandon Flowers. I could stare at that face for hours... ANYWAY! It was a good performance. I didn't know the song, which annoys me because I do enjoy The Killers sometimes. His voice was in a good shape. I liked the slightly exotic Congo like rhythm to the song. And a wonderful 80's Sax solo. Awesome.

I liked this quite a lot. The dude's voice and the overall vocal aspect didn't really grab me that much, although it wasn't bad. The production and whatnot was top notch though.

Oh my word, what a beautiful opening melody. I literally stopped everything I was doing when I heard that angelic voice. I like this guys voice. Very crisp and clear, great diction. Very interesting almost folky production. Had a warm almost country appeal to it.
Around the 2 min mark the vocals sounded a tad nasal but it still kinda worked. Great build up of music, slightly majestic around the 3 min mark where the beat kicks in. Love how they're all bopping lol.
Love the tech guy running on haha.
8.5/10

Short, sweet. Love the opening bits - the angelic harpish sound. Her vocals were really good on this one too. Overall, an actually really beautiful song, but far too short. Just as it felt like it was picking up, it was over... Really good vocals though, honestly. 8/10
I always discarded Bruno Mars as being extremely corny. Never liked him. I heard 'Locked Out of Heaven' recently, which channeled a bit of The Police in it and was impressed, and on researching his new album, I've decided that 'Moonshine' is by far my favorite song by him. It's so '80's - feels very Michael Jackson/Prince-ish and his vocals are really impressive. I've been addicted to it lately, curious to see other thoughts on it.

Ooooo, very retro vibe, right off the bat. I actually hear a bit of MJ here. It's his breathing technique which flares up every now and then. Very chilled out song. I love the background rhythm, it reminded me a bit of the main theme in Drive. It's a catchy little number. The grit in some his higher numbers on the bridge into the chorus have a rock edge which I adore. Ha, I'm dancing in my hair Unique is a word I'd associate with this song, which is a rare thing to achieve these days. Great touch at the ending, with it sounding like a music box. Ha. 8.5/10I'm gonna share one of my favourite Led Zeppelin songs, simply because Daz has renewed my love for them recently. This has always been a favourite because I think the lyrics are simply poetry and I really connect with it's bittersweet message. Led Zep- Ten Years Gone Here are the fantastic lyrics because I don't think the mix is all that great on the video, so follow along! -Then, as it was, then again it will be And though the course may change sometimes Rivers always reach the sea Behind skies of fortune, each has gentle rain On the wings of maybe, downy birds of prey Kind of makes me feel sometimes, didnt have to go But as the eagle leaves the nest, it's got so far to go Changes fill my time, baby, thats alright with me In the midst I think of you, and how it used to be Did you ever really need somebody, and really need em bad Did you ever really want somebody, the best something you ever had Do you ever remember me, baby, did it feel so good Cause it was just the first time, and you knew you would Dewy eyes now sparkle, senses grown keen Taste your love along the way, see your feathers preen Kind of makes me feel sometimes, didnt have to go We are eagles of a nest, the nest is in our soul Vixen in my dreams, with great surprise to me Never thought Id see your face the way it used to be Oh darlin, oh darlin Im never gonna leave you. I never gonna leave Holdin on, ten years gone Ten years gone, holdin on, ten years gone... <3

Awwwww yeah. Always in the mood for Zepplin. Excellent song, woefully unappreciated compared to a lot of their other songs.

Gorgeous vocal opening. So soft. I tend to get bored with voices like this, as lovely as they are, but so far so good. The, "I can't sleep" hook had a gorgeous dreamy layer of production beneath it. It's just a surreal song. I really like it. Has a lullaby tone to it.
You know what, this song really won be over. Beautiful abstract sound.

Excellent song. Very relaxed and laid-back, but with a definite darker-underbelly to it. The Doors are always solid.

Very familiar and usual opening chords. Lovely sound and quality. Kinda tells you what kinda song you're in for. Lovely vocal comes in there. Very gentle. Nice rocky chorus. Nice to see those chords get the rock treatment. I love the build up at 2:00.
I got quite carried away with the song. The soaring of the vocal was lovely. Increase in tempo around 4:30 was an odd production choice, but fuck it, it worked. Lovely song. I'd have to listen to it a few more times to really understand it, but man, it was a lovely song.
9/10
Iggy Pop- Sister Midnight
Such a sexy song. I adore this album. Bowie produced this, the sound is all his doing. This song and album is widely regarded as a Bowie album with Iggy vocals.
Bowie would later go on to nab the production for his own song, "Red Money" which is a superior song. I just enjoy the sexiness of Sister Midnight. haha

Iggy Pop's someone I don't think I've ever really given a fair chance. Not to say that I've ever disliked him and the Stooges, I just never really listened to them. I quite like this song. His voice is odd, to say the least, but it works really well Instrumentation is really good as well. 9/10 Electric Guest - American Daydream

Sister midnight is sexayyy.
And, dude, Johno got me into this band. I fucking love em. Love the slow mid tempo groove. Such a relaxed and chilled song. Love the child playground chant like chorus. Reminds me of some Pink Floyd classics. I wanna scream, "WE DON'T NEED NO EDUCATION!"
Love the vocal distortion too. I mean, what's not to like? It's a song that exists at it's own pace, playing out in confidence of itself. I adore it. It's a shame it's so short.
I'm gonna be whistling this tune all month.
10/10

I actually love rap music, and as a big Kanye fan, I really like the song. Overall, not among my favorite Kanye West songs, but still a great one. Really good for recent, mainstream rap which imo is really in the dumps despite a few gems like this one. 8/10

Love it. Heavy metal like opening. Great retro 90's techno vibe. Bit junglish in places. I dug it so much. So many memories and it's such a badass remix. 100000/100000 <3 <3 <3 So epic. So much love. Poor Syd.

I've always loved Pink Floyd. This song is no exception. There aren't many lyrics, but the music itself is beautiful enough to warrant a full 10 minute listen. It kind of gets your brain pumping, it's an interesting piece. 10/10

ELO, ELO, ELO!!! Love a bitta ELO. Love this song too. Not a favourite, but I have a fondness. Such a classic. It captures a great time for music. I've always adored how ELO push some of their production. There's some lovely mirco features here, like the strings pushed to the background, or the organ like chords at the front. Love it. 9/10Ok, this slays me every time. Breaks my heart. The AIDS was so advance as this point that poor Freddie couldn't stand without help. Brian famously said, "Freddie, I don't think you can do this." Freddie downed a shot of Vodka and said, "fuck it darling, let's do it." He sung the entire song in about three takes. This is a man on his death bed and my god, he gives it his all. It breaks my heart. The line, "I'll face it with a grin, I'll never give it in! Onnnn with the showwww!" hits me so hard For me this is one of the last words of God to man. R.I.P, Freddie.

MUTHAFUCKIN REVIVAL! So yeah, anything Queen is automatically pretty brilliant, but I must agree that this one in particular carries a fantastically emotional punch. Freddie Mercury is easily the best vocalist all time, and I think that this song, given both the quality and the events surrounding it's recording (assuming you aren't lying Jester ) is a testament to that. 10/10 One of mah favorite live recordings of all time. You have to get through some talking to get to it, but I believe it starts at roughly 1:30. Local Natives - Who Knows Who Cares

Ok, usual set up, but pretty cool. Song is about to begin now. Love the dudes soft voice. The moustache needs to go though lol. Lovely harmony. Love how they're building off of the beat. That metronome start, and then a more bass sounding beat... love it.
Really digging the harmonies. Something quartet about them. They just rift together well, and one vocalist just soars. It's wonderful to hear. Ooo, a bitta falsetto at 4:30. My weakness, must admit.
That was wonderful-- 10/10
Ok, I was gonna post a song from Bowie's new album, but they keep getting removed from facebook. So instead here is a masterpiece of a classic in ode to the LP era. <3 Starts of epically low (C2 I believe) and ends on an epic high <3

I mean Bowie's always on point, right?
Admittedly when it started I wasn't feeling it so much but by the end I was definitely into it. Liked the slow down towards the end as well. I always like songs that crescendo and then fall.

Familiar acoustic. Lovely jolly tempo. I know this song but I can't think where from. Nice voice. Just nice, doesn't really go anywhere, but it's easy on the ears and pretty enjoyable. The lyrics were very American. COME TO ACTUAL ENGLAND, BRO! But they were sweet nevertheless. I dunno, to me it sounded like a song that a starting band would write in their parents garage about a girl they know at school.
7/10
